Requisition ID: 259916 Job Title Financial Planner - Mass Affluent Market Location Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Responsibilities Develop and deepen client relationships by providing high quality investment and financial planning advice within the mass affluent market. Drive investment sales and new client acquisition while adhering to Global Sales Principles, compliance and regulatory requirements. Execute business development plans for prospects and existing clients, identifying opportunities for investment solutions and referrals. Conduct outbound communications and proactive calls to prospects, maintaining a top of mind presence for future business opportunities. Perform complementary needs analysis across multiple financial statements, including competitor statements. Actively participate in local professional and community events, delivering information sessions and financial seminars to grow prospects. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning and investment sales. Mutual funds certified professional with current MFDA licensing or Canadian Securities Course accreditation. Completion of Personal Financial Planning (PFP) designation and/or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Proven networking, client acquisition and interpersonal skills, including experience building and maintaining Centres of Influence (COIs). Goal oriented and entrepreneurial, able to work independently with minimal supervision. Extensive knowledge of competitive offerings, market trends, economic conditions and regulatory environment.
