Overview Brandt Tractor Ltd. is currently seeking a Territory ManagerMaterial Handling for our Calgary Construction and Forestry location. The Territory Manager - Material Handling role is vital in the creation, fostering, and growing of customer relationships within the defined area of responsibility (AOR) with the goal of increasing sales and rental revenue of new and used wholegoods. A successful territory manager (TM) will drive sales of forklift and/or other material handling equipment in their assigned territory. This role will be very influential in the overall growth of Brandt Material Handling business within the assigned territory. Thats powerful value, delivered. What You Will Be Responsible For Sell both new and used material handling equipment within the designated AOR. Travel the AOR to effectively cover all current and prospectaccount locations. Be fully engaged in growing our customer base by: Growing our share of our existing customer bases Acquiring new customers Identifying key strategic customers (existing & new), and executing a growth plan Building relationships Keep current on customers business activities and changing needs. Prepare and maintain customer status reports including: Sales call activities Customer lists (both current and prospect accounts) Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for your AOR. Keep current on product knowledge and industry (competitive) models. Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner. Manage travel requirements and expenses in a timely manner. What We Look For Enthusiastic, energetic, and goal driven. Proven ability to build and grow sales in a defined territory. Must be familiar with the materialhandling industry, having spent some time working in or servicing it. Excellent verbal and written communications. Strong planning, organizational, and timemanagement skills. Must be able to travel throughout the AOR. Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license (a recent drivers abstract will be required). Must possess and maintain a valid passport and be available to travel internationally. Being bilingual (English & French) is considered an asset.
