JOB SUMMARY Takes care of logistics and customer service activities such as responding to inquiries, supporting delivery personnel, handling complaints, all in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner. Responsibilities also include answering the phone, and other clerical duties requested by the supervisor. SHIFT: Monday to Friday 5:00am - 1:30pm MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Route distribution and support to delivery drivers on the road (monitoring). Follow up on orders and notify the customer of any activity related to their merchandise. Correct inventory errors and communicate daily with the client and the operations team to address various issues. Provide proof of shipment to the customer if required. Prepare, classify, and distribute billing papers for delivery partners and ensure accurate billing by checking invoices generated by the system. Maintain strong relationships with clients by responding to all their requests in a courteous and efficient manner. Prepare various reports for the management team Control all documents associated with orders. Coordinate the implementation of a logistics plan to achieve delivery time and productivity objectives. Participate in the implementation of work procedures developed jointly with operations, transport, and customer service. Responsible for on-time shipments as prioritized by customer ensuring daily workload is executed well. Monitor productivity levels of operations and communicate problems to supervisor. Train staff, when necessary, on procedures, policies, and special projects. Promote a clean, safe, and positive work environment Other duties as required EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Completion of secondary school or college or equivalent business administration experience is preferred. Related logistics experience would be an asset.
