Join Horizon North as a Culinary Leader at our remote camp in Lac De Gras, NWT, managing a team and ensuring high-quality meal service. This role features 28 days on and 14 days off shifts. As a Chef Manager, you will be responsible for designing high-quality menus while supervising kitchen operations to maintain health and safety standards. Candidates must have a robust background in food service and effective leadership techniques. Your culinary expertise will provide a memorable dining experience while ensuring team productivity and compliance with company policy. Key Responsibilities: Design and prepare high-quality rotational menus Supervise kitchen staff compliance with safety standards Train and mentor kitchen personnel Oversee food safety practices using HACCP Perform bi-weekly inventory checks for effective resource use Requirements: Journeyperson or Red Seal Certification required Ten years experience in hospitality-focused roles Advanced food safety certifications needed Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs Knowledge in menu costing and kitchen operations Bring your culinary passion to Horizon North and lead a dedicated kitchen team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
