Job Description The Second in Command will perform specific responsibilities related to operating the assigned aircraft (A321 or A330). The passenger and crew safety is the top priority. Assist in flight planning and other preparations. Carry out duties assigned by the Captain. Carry out tasks as per Standard Operating Procedures. All candidates with the necessary qualifications are invited to apply. However, the selection process will prioritize interviews and candidate experience. Qualifications Hold an updated, certified logbook. Hold a valid Transport Canada ATPL or Commercial Pilot License with either IATRA or SAMRA/SARON exams written. Thorough knowledge of Canadian aviation regulations (CARs). Hold a medical certificate of category class 1. Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident status. No travel restrictions to the United States or other countries served by Air Transat. Aviation college diploma is an asset.
