Generate and secure shipping paperwork and labels for each shipment. Receive material in Oracle and generate shipping paperwork accurately and promptly. Manage shipping inventory, ensuring it is moved and stored in the designated area in the warehouse. Back up in shippers absence. Order necessary supplies for shipping department. Maintaining a safe work environment and taking part in regular cleaning and maintenance. Meet customer order specifics in a timely manner. Operating warehouse machinery safely and efficiently. Heres where youll demonstrate your proficiencies Create labels and attach shipping related documents including dangerous goods forms, CERS, Certificates of Origin, USMA Certificates, Commercial Invoices, Packing Slips, Bill of Lading, etc. Contact freight forwarder and determine best way to ship in terms of delivery time and cost. Track all shipments until they reach their destination. Maintain a comprehensive shipping tracking sheet. Skills & Experience Detail-oriented. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure. Physical capability to perform basic tasks such as lifting up to 50lb. Experience with domestic and international shipping.
