TekStaff''s Client has a current vacancy for a Technical Project Manager (AVEVA PI Project experience) Pay Rate Range: $90-110 Job Description This is an 18 months contract located in Toronto, ON/ Hybrid (2 days onsite), with flexibility to travel to Barrie and Orillia as needed. Responsibilities Developing and managing detailed project plans, schedules, and delivery milestones Leading risk, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID) management Driving technical workshops and stakeholder sessions to define data integration, reporting, and analytics requirements Coordinating cross-functional teams including IT, data engineers, system integrators, and business stakeholders Overseeing implementation of AVEVA PI components, including data ingestion, interfaces, asset frameworks, and reporting tools Ensuring system integrations with enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, maintenance systems, analytics platforms) Tracking and driving delivery progress, ensuring milestones are achieved not just documented Preparing and presenting materials for Steering Committees and executive updates Supporting data governance, reporting adoption, and change management activities related to the new platform Must-Have Experience 10+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager leading enterprise technology implementations Direct experience implementing AVEVA PI (OSIsoft PI) or similar platforms Strong understanding of data integration, system interfaces, and enterprise reporting solutions Previous handson technical background Proven ability to drive delivery outcomes, not just maintain documentation or schedules Experience leading large, complex, cross-functional technical teams Strong experience managing enterprise data platform or analytics system implementations Exceptional communication skills able to translate between technical teams, engineers, and business stakeholders Strong facilitation and technical workshop leadership abilities Advanced PowerPoint and executive presentation skills Expertise in project planning, scheduling, and dependency management Confident, proactive leader who can push delivery forward and remove roadblocks TekStaff may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools as part of the applicant screening process.
