All travel accommodations for training will be booked and paid for by Amazon. Please note: this role requires flexibility to work 10hour overnight shifts (late afternoon to early morning) on either a fronthalf (SundayWednesday) or backhalf (WednesdaySaturday) schedule. In this role, you will lead a team of hourly employees and be responsible for engaging your team during their shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will also play a key part in ensuring customer orders are delivered on time and to the right location. Our operations workflow has three major components: First mile, Middle mile, and Last mile. Although workflows vary slightly by location, our vision and dedication to the customer remain constant. Rapid and Rural Logistics (R2L) is an organization within Amazon that specializes in delivering items quickly to customers. Rural Super Rural (RSR) is a subset of R2L focused on ensuring customers receive their deliveries and are satisfied, even in remote areas. Together, we innovate the lastmile delivery process while bringing smiles to customers. Key Job Responsibilities - Support, mentor, and motivate your team. - Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises. - Collaborate with all support teamsincluding Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention, and Human Resourcesto develop plans that meet business objectives. - Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and climb stairs. - Work in environments with variable noise levels, temperatures, and weather conditions; this includes outside loading departments and refrigerated environments. - Maintain a flexible schedule (weekends and/or overnight shifts). Basic Qualifications - 2+ years of employee and performance management experience. - Bachelors degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (bluebadge/FTE) experience. - Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays. Preferred Qualifications - 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
