Become a key support for adults with developmental disabilities as a Residential Counsellor with The Salvation Army in Hamilton. This full-time, on-site role focuses on individualized programs and nurturing environments. As a Residential Counsellor for Lawson Ministries, you will be responsible for planning and implementing personalized, goal-centered care for residents. Your duties will include meeting the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of service users, while promoting independence and quality of life. Strong engagement with team members and service users is essential to ensure supportive program delivery. Key Responsibilities: Plan individualized programs for service users needs Promote independence and quality living environments Document daily logs and incident reports accurately Administer medication and maintain accurate records Assist with transportation to appointments and activities Requirements: Two years experience with developmental disabilities Developmental Social Worker Diploma or equivalent Current First Aid and CPR certification Criminal Records Check with vulnerable sector screening Valid Ontario Class G Drivers license Support individuals with developmental disabilities while fostering their independence at The Salvation Army's Lawson Ministries. #J-18808-Ljbffr
