Position: Senior Software Developer Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract) Client Location: Toronto ( Onsite : 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday) Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement B2B (Incorporated Entities Only) Note on Assignment Type This position is provisionally Onsite , requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM , Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). About the Engagement Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to support the Enterprise Data Collection Platform (EDCP). This role is critical to sustaining a highvolume, sprintbased delivery roadmap that spans multiple concurrent modules, releases, and dependencies. The Senior Software Developer will act as a subjectmatter expert, providing handson technical leadership, solution design, and active development across multiple EDCP instances. The role supports continuous delivery, platform stability, and longterm sustainability while adhering to Public Sector standards, security, and accessibility requirements. Scope Support the design, development, and enhancement of the Enterprise Data Collection Platform (EDCP) Provide handson technical leadership across multiple concurrent sprint initiatives Collaborate with Development, Business Analysis, UX, and QA teams throughout the SDLC Contribute to usercentred design, solution architecture, and platform sustainability. Assignment Deliverables Enterprisegrade .NET application components delivered through sprint cycles Secure, scalable, and welldocumented application and database solutions Optimized SQL Server database objects (queries, stored procedures, views, functions) API enhancements and integration solutions aligned with platform standards. Expertise Required Must Have: Proven expertise in .NET design and development across all application tiers Strong experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Demonstrated experience in relational database design Fluency in advanced SQL development, including performance optimization Ability to translate technical requirements into working, tested solutions. Nice to Have: UI/UX or wireframing experience for usercentred applications Experience providing postimplementation and production support Knowledge of AODA / accessibility standards.
