Senior Consultant-LearningAbout the roleThe Learning Consultant will partner with the OCM Team, Trainers and Business units subject matter experts and IT functional team to design, support development, delivery and measure learning effectiveness for a Transformation Program. Learning Consultant will collaborate to update learning materials to facilitate achievement of the individual business units and organizational goals pre and post training delivery.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Conduct training needs analysis to include audience, role/task and training environmentProvide training development support and oversight of instructional designersDevelop the training strategy and curriculumDevelop the course catalogConduct train-the-trainer sessionsUpdate training materials per business unit requirementsInvestigate available training methods and procedures to determine the most effective manner by which to meet specific learning needsProvide general training content buildout reviews support and executionAssist in identifying and prioritizing learning needs of specific employee segments and recommending training solutions for performance related problemsDevelops a means of measuring the effectiveness of state, divisional and locational training programs through piloting, etc.Required Qualifications:Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required.At least 5 years of experience in Learning and Training environmentLive within 2 hours drive time or be willing to relocate to one of the following Infosys hub offices Toronto, ON and Calgary, AB.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration.Ability to develop a holistic view of training content and performance problems, identify root causes, and suggest training content-based solutionsAnalytical, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skillsCollaboration skills including the ability to integrate and act upon the diverse perspectives of business unit managersConsulting skills including client-facing skills aimed at determining the clients need, perceived roadblocks, business unit culture, and work environment issuesKnowledge of training and organizational development theories, instructional design models, such as ADDIE, and e-learning standards (e.g., SCORM and AICC)Project management skills and ability to facilitate organizing and managing multiple priorities and/or projectsRisk mitigation skills to help eliminate potential roadblocks in the delivery of training contentStrong business acumen and understanding of the impact of training on overall organization performanceAbility to evaluate priorities and execute tasks accordingly in a changing environmentAbility to identify and define issues, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsAbility to interpret extensive variety of instructions in verbal, written, visual, or multimedia form and deal with several abstract and concrete variablesAbility to work autonomously within global teams and as a liaison to internal clientsKnowledge of classroom-style course deliveryKnowledge of adult learning, instructional design, and curriculum development techniquesKnowledge of training techniques and ability to suggest enhancements to existing training programsSkill in writing proficiency, visual graphics design, and creative talentSkill in motivating and coaching individualsWorking knowledge of utilities processes such as Special Billing, Complex Billing, Net Metering, Rates Calculations etc.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree in organizational development, human resources, education, instructional design, communication, business administration, MIS, or a related fieldTraining content authoring tools like Articulate 360, Whatfix, Oracle Guided Learning working knowledge preferredAbility to interact at all levels of client organizationsStrong executive presence with excellent written and verbal communications skillsGreat listener who is humble yet confident with his/her abilitiesStrategic thinker who pays attention to detail, but isnt afraid to roll up his/her sleeves and do what is required to get the job doneCreative problem solverEstimated annual compensation will be $127,063 CAD to $155,299 CAD.EEO/About Us :About UsInfosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting.
