Position DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and reliable General Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in various tasks across different departments, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of our organization. General Labourers perform a range of manual tasks, ensuring that workspaces are clean, tools are organized, and projects are completed in a timely manner.Position Responsibilities:Engage in physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials, equipment, or tools.Assist in preparing work sites by cleaning, organizing, and ensuring that all necessary tools and materials are available.Aid technicians in their workflow as required.Load and unload materials from trucks, assemble and disassemble equipment, and transport items to designated areas using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.Clean and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Report any damaged or malfunctioning tools in accordance with proper procedures.Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, using personal protective equipment (PPE) when required. Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors.Work collaboratively with team members, following instructions and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.Complete assigned tasks efficiently and within specified timeframes.Use CRM software to complete safety documentation and log time for payroll.Drive light trucks and trailers as required.Position Requirements:Must be located within CanadaClass 5 Drivers License with acceptable abstract (must be licensed in Canada for a minimum of three years)Clean Criminal Record CheckReliable means of transportation to and from workPrevious trailer towing experience is requiredPrevious construction experience is considered an asset but is not mandatoryForklift training and previous experience is considered a major assetBasic safety certifications (TDG, First Aid, etc.) or willing to obtainEffective communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenEffective time management and organizational skillsAbility to perform the physical tasks of the position, including but not limited to lifting objects, climbing ladders, working in restricted spaces, and working at heightsCompensation is negotiable based on relevant experience and qualifications.
