Title: Technical Business AnalystStructure: Long Term ContractLocation: Mississauga, ON (Onsite 4 Days)Client: A global automotive companyPay: 41/hr CAD (30 USD)Job DescriptionBrooksource is looking for a handson, technical Business Analyst with a background in Java and DevOps environments. This person will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring business needs are clearly defined, technically understood, and successfully delivered.This role is ideal for someone who has previous development experience, understands how modern Java applications are built and deployed, and can confidently work alongside developers and DevOps teams. The expectation is ownership from requirement discovery through delivery not just documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document requirementsTranslate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flowsWork closely with Java development teams to clarify requirements, review solutions, and remove blockersCollaborate with DevOps teams on deployments, CI/CD processes, and release readinessParticipate in Agile ceremonies including standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviewsSupport QA by clarifying requirements and validating delivered functionalityIdentify gaps, risks, and dependencies and proactively drive solutionsOwn features endtoend, from initial discovery through production deliveryRequired SkillsProven experience as a Business Analyst in an enterprise technology environmentStrong understanding of Javabased applications, APIs, and modern system architecturePrior handson development experience or strong ability to read and discuss codeExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments (Jira, Confluence, etc.)Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD concepts and how software moves from development to productionAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholdersNice to HaveExperience with Spring / Spring Boot, microservices, or cloud environmentsExposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience supporting large, enterprisescale systemsBackground in regulated or complex corporate environmentsDisclaimer: Brooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire are part of the Eight Eleven Group family of companies and operate under Eight Eleven Group, LLC.
