Applying strong business acumen, this role ensures all departments operate efficiently and cohesively to achieve organizational goals, maximize profitability, and ensure Element continues to deliver the highest quality products and services. The GM serves as a key decision-maker and leader for daily operations, growth, resources and company culture in alignment with the Executives strategic direction.Key Responsibilities: Have end-to-end business oversight to ensure continued success of the companyProvide servant leadership guidance and mentorship across the organizationIdentify, develop and implement business strategies aligned with company objectivesIdentify growth opportunities, market trends, and potential risksSet and maintain performance programs and monitor progress across departmentsIdentify operational risks and implement mitigation strategiesCompany wide oversight including Operations, Technical, HR and close collaboration with Controller to ensure efficient achievement of corporate performance targetsEstablish and/or ensure compliance to policies, procedures and standardsOptimize resource allocation and workflow processesManage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance in collaboration with the ControllerAnalyze financial reports and implement cost-control measuresTrain and develop department headsStrategic succession planning to foster growth and develop talentFoster a positive, high-performance work cultureConduct performance evaluations and support employee developmentBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholdersEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction and service deliveryEnsure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standardsRepresent the company in meetings, negotiations, and public eventsEmbody and promote the values of Element, acting as a brand ambassador for the organizationAny duties needed to help drive our Vision, Mission, and abide by our Organizations ValuesQualifications:Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (MBA preferred)Proven experience, 10 years, in a senior management or leadership roleStrong financial acumen and operational expertiseExcellent servant-leadership skills, communication, and decision-making skillsAbility to analyze data and drive strategic initiativesWork Location: Office based in Burlington, OntarioCompensation: Base salary of $110,000-$130,000 plus performance-based bonus
