Job Description Key Responsibilities: u00b7 Adhere to safety policies, programs, procedures u00b7 Complete health & safety pre-start checklists u00b7 Ensure product being produced meets established quality specifications u00b7 Document quality checks at regular intervals u00b7 Operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with established operating procedures u00b7 Operate counterbalance, propane-powered forklift u00b7 Document production numbers, items contributing to down-time (using computerized system, as well as hand-written production reports) u00b7 General housekeeping duties u00b7 Additional duties as assigned by Supervisory staff Qualifications: u00b7 Experience in heavy-industrial manufacturing, construction, or similar industry preferred u00b7 Counter-balance forklift operating experience (Recommended) u00b7 Comfortable with working in a dusty environment u00b7 Manual dexterity u00b7 Attention to detail u00b7 Fluent in verbal and written English Physical Requirements: u00b7 Ability to safely perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds on a routine basis u00b7 Comfortable with standing for extended periods of time u00b7 Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces Salary The starting wage for the position is $28.95/Hour with potential for further increases.
