LevittSafety is looking for a Service Supervisor to lead our Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems (VFSS) and Fire Life Safety service operations across Northern Ontario and the Abitibi region. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working alongside technicians in the field, supporting mining customers, and leading a team that takes pride in keeping people and equipment safe. Summary As the Service Supervisor supporting Northern Ontario and the Abitibi region, you will lead and grow our Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems (VFSS) and Fire Life Safety service operations. This role can be based in Sudbury or Timmins, with frequent travel to Val-d'Or and surrounding mining sites. The successful candidate must be fluent in both English and French. This is a handson leadership role combining field support, team leadership, safety oversight, and operational coordination. You will work closely with a team of skilled technicians - providing guidance, supporting field work when needed, and ensuring service work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. What Youll Do: Lead, mentor, and support a team of VFSS and Fire Life Safety technicians across the region. Provide coaching, technical guidance, and ongoing training to maintain strong service quality and safety standards. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and safety-focused team culture. Plan and coordinate technician resources to meet customer demands and project timelines. Conduct safety orientations, lead toolbox talks, and reinforce safe work practices in the field. Ensure all team certifications and training requirements remain current. Perform safety audits, hazard assessments, and promote proactive reporting of nearmisses. Oversee vehicle, tools, and equipment maintenance to ensure readiness and compliance. Manage inventory levels and forecast material needs in coordination with internal teams. Maintain a clean, organized shop and service environment. Remain actively involved in field work and support technicians on site when required. Identify opportunities to expand VFSS and Fire Life Safety services across the region. Build strong relationships with customers and support exceptional service delivery. Work closely with service coordinators to optimize scheduling and project efficiency. What You Bring to the Role: Leadership experience in a service, mining, or fieldbased technical environment. Strong technical knowledge of Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems and Fire Life Safety systems. Comfort working in a handson environment and supporting technicians in the field when needed. A proactive, solutionsoriented mindset with the ability to work independently. A strong commitment to health and safety leadership. Ability to balance operational priorities, customer relationships, and team support. Fluent in both French and English (required). Willingness to travel regularly across Northern Ontario and the Abitibi region. A competitive annual salary of $70,000 - 88,000, based on skills, experience, and internal equity. Company vehicle.
