Job DescriptionPosted Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 4:00 AMSummary: As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will play a key role in our recruitment process, supporting regions across the organization. You will be responsible for identifying, attracting, assessing and hiring top-tier candidates for high volume and critical roles.Utilizing various networks and sourcing strategies, the successful candidate will contribute to Reliances overall success in achieving growth and revenue targets by attracting top talent to the organization.Key Accountabilities:Implement a proactive recruitment strategy to help identify and attract top candidates.Focus on sourcing passive and active candidates at various levels through networking and direct contact.Establish screening criteria and developing a scoring matrix for all assessment methods including competency-based interviews.Develop a recruitment schedule and strategies to locate the most qualified candidates.Screen and assess candidate resumes, administer assessment methods including behavioural competency-based interviews and present a short list of qualified candidates.Act as an expert on recruitment trends by maintaining and enhancing a network of contacts in the industry, participating in industry events and professional associations.Take a consultative approach with internal clients while providing business solutions.Identify innovative sources of recruitment.Track analytical data regarding all facets of the hiring process, to include sourcing effectiveness, time to hire and other analysis as needed.Identify, build and share new processes to increase recruitment effectiveness at Reliance.Manage and/or participate in HR projects as needed.Skills, Experience and Education Required:Post-Secondary education and equivalent experience within a talent acquisition / recruitment focused roleMinimum 2-5 years of recruitment / sourcing experience, ideally within the skilled trades industryA proven track record in meeting and exceeding targetsStrong knowledge base of social media and ability to leverage tools to engage and attract passive talentExpertise with Boolean logic and associated internet mining techniques preferredDemonstrated success in building relationshipsOrganized and detail oriented with a pro-active approachCustomer centric attitude coupled with a sense of urgencyPassion for the business; be an ambassador for Reliance Home ComfortExceptional communication skills - crisp and articulate verbal skills in addition to effective written communication requiredWell networked and highly engaging with all stakeholdersProficient using Microsoft Office Suite, LinkedIn, Indeed and other online recruitment tools #J-18808-Ljbffr
