Primary function Seeking a skilled and experienced PeopleSoft professionals to join our Information Technology team in a role that encompasses security administration, business analysis, development, and application support. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our PeopleSoft applications, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our systems. This role involves collaboration with various departments to develop, implement, and manage security policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and compliance requirements This role combines expertise in PeopleSoft security administration, application development, and functional/business analysis to deliver high-quality solutions that align with organizational goals and compliance requirements. Secondary Location: n/a Reporting to: Manager, Application Development & Data Science Key accountabilities Design, configure, and maintain security roles and permission lists within PeopleSoft. Manage user access requests, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Perform user provisioning and de-provisioning. Provide reports and documentation to support internal and external audits. Collaborate with IT, HR, Finance and other business units to ensure security requirements are integrated into system designs and processes. Communicate security policies and procedures to end-users and stakeholders. Test and apply PeopleSoft patches, upgrades, and fixes with a focus on security features. Ensure compatibility of security settings with new system updates. Develop and implement plans to mitigate identified risks. Investigate and resolve PeopleSoft security-related issues. Provide technical support to end-users experiencing access or security issues. Maintain comprehensive documentation of security configurations, procedures, and protocols. Develop and update security policies to align with organizational needs and industry standards. Analyze, design, develop, configure, test, and support PeopleSoft applications. Support upgrades, new module implementations, and troubleshoot production issues Translate business requirements into technical documentation and system enhancements Performs additional technical and system administrator tasks related to this role as required Required Skills & Experience University Degree in an information technology, computer science discipline or related working experience. 5 years+ experience with PeopleSoft as a security analyst, system analyst, administrator, or developer. In-depth understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, security models, roles, and permission lists. Experience configuring and managing PeopleSoft user profiles, role-based access control (RBAC), and permission lists. Experience with tools like PeopleSoft Application Designer (Classic and Fluid), Data Mover, and Integration Broker. Experience conducting security audits and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory policies. Experience in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security risks. Knowledge of incident response frameworks and best practices. Experience with identity and access management (IAM) tools, single sign-on (SSO), and multifactor authentication (MFA). Familiarity with encryption, SSL/TLS protocols, and data masking techniques. Basic understanding of programming languages like Java, PeopleCode, or scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell). Ability to create scripts for automation or custom security enhancements. Ability to identify security vulnerabilities and devise effective solutions. Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset for troubleshooting issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to document policies and interact with technical and non-technical teams. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, IT, and other business units. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new PeopleSoft updates, tools, and organizational needs. Experience with PeopleSoft upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting. Experience working on projects related to system upgrades, migrations, or security enhancements. Applied agile software development skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to periodically work during non-core business hours. Ability to work within a team, along with ability to work on multiple and concurrent assignments. Must have intermediate knowledge of the following Microsoft programs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
