Working closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and business leaders, you will focus on market mapping, talent intelligence, and building high-quality pipelines of passive talent to support both immediate hiring needs and future growth.This is a new opportunity designed for an experienced sourcing professional who thrives in a consultative environment and brings a strategic lens to identifying talent in competitive markets. You will combine research, data, and industry insights to inform sourcing strategies and strengthen the firms overall talent acquisition capability.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Talent Mapping & Pipeline DevelopmentConduct targeted market mapping to identify key talent segments, competitor organizations, and emerging talent pools aligned to priority hiring areasBuild and maintain proactive pipelines of high-caliber candidates across specialized consulting and technical capabilitiesDevelop long-term talent communities to support strategic workforce planning and future hiring needsProactive Sourcing & Candidate EngagementLead outbound sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive talent through multiple channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, research tools, and industry communitiesDesign and execute targeted sourcing campaigns to attract niche skillsets and difficult-to-fill profilesBuild meaningful relationships with prospective candidates to position the firm as an employer of choiceBusiness & Talent Acquisition PartnershipPartner closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring leaders to align on talent priorities, ideal candidate profiles, and sourcing strategiesProvide market intelligence on talent availability, competitor hiring activity, and compensation benchmarks to support hiring decisionsSupport the development of referral strategies and leverage internal networks to expand talent pipelinesTalent Intelligence & Data-Driven InsightsTrack pipeline health, outreach effectiveness, and candidate engagement metrics to continuously improve sourcing strategiesLeverage talent data and external market insights to inform hiring strategies and talent planning discussionsMaintain high-quality talent pools and candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and sourcing toolsTalent Brand & Candidate ExperienceRepresent the firm professionally through candidate engagement and online presenceDeliver thoughtful, personalized outreach that strengthens our reputation within the talent marketContribute to enhancing the firms employer brand through consistent and high-quality candidate interactionsHow do we define success for your role?You demonstrate BDO's core values through all aspect of your work: Integrity, Respect and CollaborationYou understand your clients industry, challenges, and opportunities; clients describe you as positive, professional, and delivering high quality workYou identify, recommend, and are focused on effective service delivery to your clientsYou share in an inclusive and engaging work environment that develops, retains & attracts talentYou actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplaceYou grow your expertise through learning and professional development.Experience & Qualifications4+ years of experience in talent sourcing, recruitment research, or talent intelligence, ideally within professional services, consulting, or other knowledge-based industriesDemonstrated success sourcing and engaging passive candidates in competitive marketsStrong expertise with advanced sourcing techniques including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and talent intelligence platformsExperience conducting market mapping and translating talent insights into actionable sourcing strategiesStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner effectively with recruiters and business leadersAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret recruitment metrics and sourcing performance dataCuriosity and adaptability with emerging sourcing technologies, tools, and market trendsBilingualism (English/French) is considered an assetThe expected range of compensation for this role is $74,000 to $112,000 annuallyWhy BDO?Our people-first approach to talent has earned us a spot among Canadas Top 100 Employers for 2026.
