About the Opportunity Independently manage end-to-end shipments across multiple modes including ocean, intermodal rail, trucking, and air freight Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, trucking companies, rail providers, cold storage facilities, and customers to ensure smooth execution Act as the primary owner of assigned shipments, ensuring timely delivery and full visibility across the supply chain Monitor shipment progress and proactively identify risks (delays, port congestion, rail issues, trucking shortages, documentation gaps, customs hold) Resolve logistics issues with minimal supervision, including rerouting, mode switching, and cost mitigation strategies Prepare and review all shipping and export/import documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with international trade regulations Manage inland logistics including drayage, transloading, warehousing, and final delivery coordination Negotiate freight rates and manage capacity across different transportation modes to optimize cost and service levels Work closely with trading and sales teams to support deal execution and customer commitments Maintain accurate shipment records and updates in internal systems (ERP / tracking tools) Contribute to continuous improvement of logistics processes, cost control, and operational efficiency About You 3+ years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or commodity trading logistics Proven experience handling multimodal transportation (ocean, rail/intermodal, trucking, air) Strong understanding of cold chain logistics (reefer containers preferred) Solid knowledge of Incoterms, import/export documentation, and customs clearance processes Ability to independently manage shipments and solve complex logistics issues under pressure Strong negotiation skills with carriers and service providers High attention to detail, accountability, and ownership mindset Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/logistics systems (e.g., Dynamics 365 is a plus) Pay Range $65,000- $80,000 per year How to Apply Click the Apply Now button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
