The Foundation is looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and dedicated professional for the role of Executive Assistant who will support our mission. Visit Position Summary The Executive Assistant reports to the Executive Director and operates with a high degree of independence. Working closely with the Executive Director, this role supports awareness and engagement of Foundation activities by providing administrative, communications, fund development, and event support. The Executive Assistant manages daytoday operations, including meeting coordination and minutetaking, records management, scheduling, correspondence, research, and internal liaison, and is responsible for managing and administering high school scholarship and financial assistance programs. Executive & Board Support The Executive Assistant will coordinate and support Board and Committee meetings, including scheduling meeting room space, arranging refreshments and catering, preparing and supporting Committee and Board agendas, coordinating and communicating meeting details with attendees, and ensuring AV equipment is available and functioning. Take accurate meeting minutes and distribute postmeeting minutes, and support meeting room setup and cleanup. Administration & Operations Manage electronic calendars, schedule meetings and appointments, and track key dates, deadlines, and events. Maintain electronic filing systems, Board and Committee listings, and Foundation records. Provide administrative support to the CPA Manitoba Foundation Board and Committees, including preparing Board orientation materials and Board nomination documentation. Produce expense reports and maintain accurate documentation. Track and maintain all student and candidate support data. Develop and manage the Foundations Annual Report. Communications Support internal and external communications, including eNews, annual reporting, and marketing materials. Collaborate with Marketing and Communications, where applicable. Fund Development & Events Support donor stewardship activities and fund development reporting. Coordinate event pricing, sponsorship support, and Foundation events. Qualifications Minimum three (3) years experience in an Executive Assistant or senior administrative role, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat, supported by strong organizational, communication, and timemanagement skills. Demonstrated professionalism with a high level of discretion and confidentiality. Experience working in a nonprofit or association environment and supporting a Board of Directors is considered an asset. Exposure to fund development, fundraising, or grants is an asset.
