Senior Financial Analyst Siemens Healthineers Point of Care The Senior Financial Analyst role in Siemens Healthcare Point of Care will initiate, execute and evaluate the effectiveness of planning, analysis and reporting activities within the business area. As part of a team, and through bestinclass datadriven analytics, this role will partner and/or lead crossfunctional teams for strategic and tactical decision making; it will lead in generating financial insights in shortterm and longterm strategic global results, with a focus on efficient capital allocation. This role will develop leading financial business case dialog for major R&D investments and new business development, and it will serve as the finance lead for strategy and new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities Guide the analysis of financial results to determine accuracy and completeness of information. Develop various financial reports and reviews with management on financial plans and budgets, including rate of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, budgeting, and financial and expense performance comparisons. Ensure conformance to IFRS requirements and drive discussions with internal and external auditors. Drive and optimize financial performance for R&D and capital investment projects, recommending actions to achieve targets using datadriven decisionmaking and monthly stakeholder collaboration. Conduct financial project plans for ongoing and new R&D projects. Provide adhoc analysis to help the business understand return on investment and align future benefits with cost and effort. Analyze product profitability in shortterm and longterm trends, highlighting key insights and recommendations to portfolio management regarding product lifecycle costs. Required Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Capabilities Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. Experience: 510 years of progressive analytical and controlling experience, with demonstrated progression in a similar environment. Competencies Distill business processes and results into actionable information and storytelling for senior leadership with strong presentation skills. Proactively engage internal customers at various levels, facilitating communication and supporting R&D and portfolio management teams. Excellent communication and networking, resultoriented, with a proactive attitude and intercultural sensitivity. Team player with ability to manage horizontal teams, lead crossfunctional effort, and coordinate business operations, finance, accounting, audit, and external personnel. Project management experience, strong analytical ability and attention to detail. Deep business acumen and understanding of complex organizational structures, reporting structures, and budgeting & forecasting processes. Strong systems skills in SAP, expert Excel and PowerPoint, SAP BW (Data Warehouse reporting). Well versed with Healthcare R&D developmental methodology and the global Point of Care Diagnostics industry. Understand intangible capitalization of development projects and its impact on P&L, balance sheet and cash flow. Optimal process workflows and track record of driving business improvements. Peer mentorship to team members, sharing knowledge to promote talent within the Finance team. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Capabilities Experience in an international business setting and communication with multiple cultures. Strong experience with data analytics tools. Experience in Healthcare business and a good understanding of Healthcare diagnostics dynamics. Compensation: $104,500 $154,500 CAD.
