The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for delivering and maintaining the core infrastructure our clients depend on. From server deployments to complex migrations, this role takes ownership, handles the work that sits beyond the helpdesk, and ensures our environments are built correctly from the start. Job Responsibilities Infrastructure Engineering: Design and implement Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Entra ID, and identity architecture Project Execution: Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects including server builds, domain migrations, cloud transitions, and environment upgrades Systems Ownership: Maintain and optimize client and internal systems including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, SaaS platforms, file services, and identity platforms Virtualization & Backup: Deploy and manage HyperV infrastructure, storage systems, and backup and recovery solutions Network & Device Integration: Install and configure firewalls, VoIP systems, network equipment, and integrate printers and lineofbusiness applications Escalation Resolution: Own complex technical issues across server performance, authentication, infrastructure failures, and advanced Microsoft 365 scenarios Client & Team Coordination: Interface with clients, vendors, and internal staff to ensure projects are delivered cleanly and issues are resolved efficiently What You Bring Experience: 5+ years in an MSP or IT consulting environment with handson infrastructure delivery Core Technical Skills: Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and HyperV Deployment Capability: Proven ability to execute onsite infrastructure work including server installs, migrations, and environment builds Troubleshooting: Structured problemsolving approach with the ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex issues Communication: Clear, professional communication in clientfacing situations and internal coordination Requirements: Valid Gclass drivers licence and ability to commute to clients as needed.
