The Payroll Specialist ensures an accurate and timely record of employee information, supports all aspects of the payroll process, maintains a solid audit trail, and produces related reports.Schedule: Full-Time: Remote ResponsibilitiesAssist facility payroll personnel with accurate and timely payroll processing.Maintain accurate employee data and a solid audit trail within the WorkforceNow/ADP environment.Perform analysis, reconciliation, and audits of timekeeping and payroll data.Process and monitor wage garnishments, tax liens, child support orders, and required notifications.Ensure accuracy of new hire data and changes processed in WorkforceNow.Ensure timely processing of leaves of absence and terminations in WorkforceNow.Apply knowledge of 401(k) withholdings and common benefit withholdings.Process employment verifications, unemployment claims, disability claims, and other payroll or benefits documents.Multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with flexibility and initiative.Demonstrate strong organizational, analytical, accounting, math, writing, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. QualificationsMinimum of 3-4 years of hands-on Time & Attendance administration, preferably with UKG Workforce Management.Minimum of 3 years payroll processing experience; knowledge of ADP WorkforceNow is a must.Associate degree or equivalent relevant work experience.Ability to perform analysis, reconciliation, and audits of payroll data.Experience with leaves, terminations, and related payroll processes in a payroll system.Knowledge of 401(k) withholding and common benefit withholdings.Experience with employment verifications, unemployment claims, disability claims, and related documents.Strong multitasking, adaptability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational, analytical, mathematical, writing, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Benefits and CompensationThe salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting.
