Job Description

A leading wealth and asset management firm is seeking an Email Marketing Manager to join their marketing team. This is a key role within a well-established financial services organization that manages hundreds of billions in assets and serves millions of clients across the country. As Manager, Client Communication & Engagement, you will be a key driver of the client engagement strategy, with a primary focus on advancing email marketing and sales enablement capabilities. You will architect and implement a sophisticated personalization strategy using a leading marketing automation platform to deliver relevant content to financial advisors. In parallel, you will own the strategic roadmap for a sales enablement platform to optimize how the sales team engages with content. Reporting to the Director, Client Communications you'll work with partners across Sales, Marketing, and Service to improve adoption of engagement initiatives, strengthen the client journey, and deliver measurable impact. You will also oversee the delivery of marketing assets for an extensive portfolio of in-person and digital events. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute an email marketing program focused on personalized, automated journeys for clients. Design and implement a content personalization roadmap, leveraging client data, insights, and personas to deliver relevant communications that drive engagement. Own the content strategy within the sales engagement platform, ensuring content is discoverable and effectively utilized by the sales team. Partner with internal teams to align engagement strategies with broader business goals, and develop communication plans to support key outcomes such as content engagement, product adoption, and event attendance. What You Bring 57 years of experience in marketing communications, with a focus on client engagement and event marketing. Financial services or asset management experience is a strong advantage. Proven experience developing omni-channel engagement strategies with a strong emphasis on email marketing and personalization. Deep, hands-on expertise with marketing automation platforms, including journey building, segmentation, and analytics. Demonstrated experience managing a sales engagement platform with a focus on content strategy and user adoption. Strong knowledge of Canadian investment industry audiences and how to communicate effectively with advisors and investors. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics into clear, compliant messaging. This role is currently open, and applications are under review.
