Position Overview Under the direction of the Charge Technologist or Designate, the Senior Medical Radiology Technologist will assist in the general operation of the department, performing routine and emergency diagnostic imaging procedures. The incumbent ensures compliance with quality assurance programs, safety guidelines, and accreditation standards. Experience Minimum three years recent related work experience preferred. Supervisory experience is an asset. Education Graduate of an approved Medical Radiography program with certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Completion of courses in Cross Sectional Anatomy and/or Computed Tomography as required. Certification / Licensure Must maintain active registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Qualifications and Skills Windows computer environment required. Microsoft Office programs required. Workplace Health and Safety Program or training preferred. Apply technical knowledge to interpretation of results, troubleshooting, and assessment of methods.
