We take a holistic approach, considering the child and family as a whole and working in partnership with their wider team. Our culture is inclusive, transparent and a place to be yourself!The ideal candidate has:Current registration with the College of Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario1-3 years of experience in pediatricsPrior experience in private practicePost graduate certificate or training in two or more of the following or similar:Lidcombe Program for Childhood StutteringTalkTools: Oral Placement Therapy (OPT) for Speech Clarity and FeedingKaufman Technique for Apraxia of SpeechPROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets)PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System)AAC (Assistive/Adaptive Communication)America Sign Language or Signed Exact EnglishHanen Early Language Programs for ParentsLiteracyAutismDown SyndromeSelective MutismNeuro-motor/Neuro-developmental conditionsGenetic conditionsGeneral and Global Developmental DelayStandard First Aid CPR/AED Level CThe nature of the work is hands-on assessment, consultation and treatment of the pediatric population from birth to young adults across all diagnoses and children who do not have a diagnosis.
