Subsurface Dynamics Inc. is a Calgary-based engineering and technology company building real-time systems for one of the most operationally demanding environments in energy hydraulic fracturing. We dont build dashboards after the fact. We build systems that run live during operations where data is messy, decisions matter, and failures are not theoretical. Our platform processes high-frequency field data in real time to detect issues while pumping is happening not days later. Calgary (preferred) or Remote (Americas time zones) We are looking for a Data QC & Monitoring Analyst to support real-time operations of our frac monitoring platform. This role focuses on: Ensuring data quality and continuity Identifying issues early Supporting real-time operations You will work in a structured environment where attention to detail and reliability are critical. Monitor active jobs (812 projects concurrently) Ensure data is flowing correctly Check incoming data for consistency and completeness Flag anomalies or unexpected behavior Apply predefined QC rules Detect issues early Escalate to integration engineer when needed Communicate clearly during live operations Basic Interpretation (Guided) Perform simple checks on outputs Identify obvious inconsistencies Follow structured interpretation guidelines Log issues Maintain QC notes Must have: Strong attention to detail Ability to follow structured processes Clear communication Oil and gas industry exposure Nice to have: Experience with data monitoring or operations Basic technical understanding (logs, dashboards) What We Care About Reliability over brilliance Fast learning Consistency Calm under pressure Able to learn quickly and operate with minimal supervision #J-18808-Ljbffr
