Business Location: 1629 Gowling Terr, Milton, ON L9T 5J6 Work location: 1456 Rose Way, Milton, ON L9E 1V7, with telecommuting available (2 days per week) Type of Employment: Full-time Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: Confer with clients to identify and document requirements Conduct business and technical studies Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats Design new computer programs by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and writing specifications Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, information systems, or completion of a college program in computer science Experience: At least 5 years in Information Technology (IT) Computer and technology knowledge: Business intelligence, Cloud, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Visual Studio, Shell script, Subversion (SVN), Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Internet, Security software, 3D graphic software, Project management software, Website creation and management software, Web service design, Business diagram software, Mapping and data visualization software, Programming languages, Data analysis software, MS Office, MS Windows, Python Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure Personal suitability: Flexibility, Organized, Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Team player, Excellent written and oral communication, Accurate, Initiative, Judgment Language: English required Salary: $45.00 hourly, 40 hours per week Benefits: Medical and life insurance benefits.
