Alongside, the larger P&C Operations team, and one of two specialists, you will put your best foot forward by helping Deliver superior team member experiences by providing payroll expertise and guidance to all of our stakeholders.Bring a mindset of innovation and continuous improvement by challenging the status quo and implementing process improvementsEnsure the integrity of our overall data through audits, automation, and a relentless focus on safeguarding the quality of our workReporting to the Payroll Manager, you will bring your A-game by being an:Expert in your field:Scheduling and processing our Production Payroll RunsSubmitting the bank file to ensure accurate and timely payment to Team members and Board of DirectorsReconciling net pay and redirecting bank depositsPreparing off cycle pay runs in between regular payroll runClearing claims as a result of overpaymentsPrinting cheques and couriering or mailing each pay periodMaintaining accurate, confidential employee records, updating payroll informationActing as the primary contact for employee questions regarding payUploading changes to payroll payments through dataloadsOther adhoc requests received from businessEffectively collaborating with our national teamBuilding relationships with the various stakeholders that you support through your deliverables within the P&C Operations teamCollaborating with leaders to manage escalations and identify efficiency opportunitiesQualificationsWhat you bringCertification: Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) certification from the National Payroll InstituteTechnical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of payroll software (e.g., SAP, Success Factors) Google sheets and MS Office, particularly ExcelCompetencies: High attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and a commitment to confidentialityGreat-to-havesCPM certification with the National Payroll InstituteSalary Range: $60,000-$90,000Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 10%Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
