What We Offer Attractive benefits package including longterm and shortterm disability, dental, vision, and drug coverage Company pension plan Positive worklife balance Opportunities for professional growth Employee assistance program Salary: $60,000 to $70,000 Position type: Fulltime Permanent Key Responsibilities Supervise operations within a facility to achieve higher output Ensure compliance with safety and professional standards Organize, monitor, and prioritize tasks to meet production goals Evaluate various stages of production to ensure optimum efficiency Maintain communication between employees and senior executives to ensure procedures and policies are well understood Ensure the flow of raw materials and other resources Education Requirements Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent Experience, Knowledge, and Skills 3 to 5 years experience in a supervisory or leadership role Knowledge of manufacturing tools and equipment Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Excellent problemsolving skills and a strong work ethic Ability to create and adhere to production processes Ability to write reports legibly and accurately Experience working in a unionized environment Security Requirements Criminal record check for all new hires Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) check; must provide three references to verify identity Work Conditions Ideal candidate will work rotating shifts five days a week (currently morning and afternoon; may include overnight shifts in future) CSA approved footwear, safety glasses, ear protection, etc. Magellan Aerospace respects the privacy and confidentiality of personal information provided by candidates and will not disclose it to any external parties unless required by law.
