This role involves working closely with Indigenous clients, communities, and businesses on a range of commercial transactions, governance structures, and economic development initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Advise Indigenous clients on corporate structuring, partnerships, and joint venturesAdvise Indigenous clients on the creation of trust structuresDraft and negotiate commercial agreements including leases, MOU, impact benefit agreements, and procurement contractsCollaborate with internal and external teams on interdisciplinary projects involving Aboriginal rights and titleRequirements:35 years of experience in corporate-commercial lawDemonstrated experience or strong interest in Aboriginal lawExcellent drafting, negotiation, and client management skillsGood standing with the Law Society of Alberta #J-18808-Ljbffr
