Job Description

This is a high-output, execution-first creative role focused on performance advertising for mobile apps.You will generate ideas, prepare brief, and organize large volumes of ad concepts, hooks, scripts, and insights that feed into a senior Creative Director & in-house design team. Your territory covers all core paid channels like Meta, Tiktok, AppLovin, Youtube/Google, X, Reddit etc.Your goal is to produce strong raw ad ideas, learn fast, and ship consistently.If you enjoy analyzing why ads work, researching ads, writing short-form scripts, spotting patterns in high-performing creatives, and honing in your skills with a sharp team, this role fits.If you want to think big without shipping or testing your ideas, it wont.What You Will DoCreative Output (Primary)Produce a high weekly volume of app ad concepts (hooks, angles, scripts).Write UGC-style scripts for short-form video ads (Meta, TikTok, Snap).Generate variations intentionally based on performance data (not random rewrites).Creative Research & Pattern MiningStudy top-performing app ads and competitors daily.Identify repeatable creative patterns (hooks, pacing, framing).Maintain swipe files and structured references.Performance Insights & ReportingReview creative performance data and summarize learnings clearly.Identify which hooks, angles, and formats are working - and why.Submit work for review to the Creative Director.Iterate quickly based on direct feedback.Improve quality and speed over time.Success Metrics (How Youre Evaluated)Consistency of weekly outputQuality improvement over timeAbility to apply feedbackClarity of performance insightsSpeed without sacrificing intent/idea depthAbility to utilize tools like AI with innovationIdeal BackgroundThis role is open to junior or early-career candidates, including:0-3 years experience in performance ads, marketing, or contentStrong interest in mobile apps, short-form video, and paid socialComfortable writing concise, punchy copyAnalytical enough to explain why something workedOrganized and reliable under weekly deadlinesExperience at an agency or high-growth app company is a plus, but not a requirement.Traits That Matter More Than ExperienceHigh personal output & accountabilityStrong innate curiosity (especially about ads)Comfort with critique, self-correction and iterationAbility to learn fast and operate fastBias toward fast progress & launching ideas over perfectionWorking ModelReports to: Creative DirectorFully remoteFull-time contractRequires overlap with US EST business hoursCompensationCAD $55,000 - $65,000, depending on experience/educationClear promotion path to Senior Creative StrategistPerformance-based increases tied to output and growthApplication RequirementTo apply, candidates must submit one short example:A breakdown of a mobile app social ad you believe worked well and whyOR3 hooks they would test for a specific app you likeApplications without an example will not be reviewed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
