Job Description

This is a permanent, fulltime QA Technician position reporting to the QA Supervisor. The role is based on the night shift (MondayFriday, 11PM7AM) with occasional overtime. Responsibilities Conduct analytical and sensory testing of raw ingredients and finished products to verify compliance with specifications. Collect, prepare, and document microbiological, ATP, allergen, environmental, and water samples for external laboratory analysis. Monitor production parameters (temperature, pH, viscosity, flow, etc.) and record critical process data. Perform packaging and labeling verificationsincluding weight checks, integrity checks, and product coding. Support sanitation and allergencontrol programs, maintain SSOP boards, and validate postsanitation procedures. Complete and maintain quality and foodsafety records: sanitation logs, calibration records, audits, light intensity checks, and NC hold documentation. Investigate nonconformances, document findings, and assist in rootcause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Prepare and release Certificates of Analysis (COA) and support customer and internal quality requests. Facilitate shifttoshift communication of critical quality information to ensure continuity and alignment. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. At least one year of practical QA experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing. Proficient in laboratory testing, sensory evaluation, and GMP compliance. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently across lab and production floor. Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with crossfunctional teams. Ability to adapt to variable tasks, work environments, and overtime as needed. Compensation and Benefits Base salary range: $50,000 $53,000, with final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
