About the Role We are hiring a Brand Manager to lead marketing across Dear Grain, Village Juicery, and BLFC during a 12-month maternity leave contract. Reporting directly to the CMO, the role will oversee brand management, campaign leadership, and cross-functional execution, with meaningful involvement in paid media and SEO. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable operating across both strategy and execution. They should also have strong aptitude for technology, a self-starter mindset, and an interest in using AI and new tools to improve workflows, decision-making, and marketing efficiency. This role will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure our brands show up consistently and effectively across every customer touchpoint. Responsibilities Lead brand management across Dear Grain, Village Juicery, and BLFC, ensuring strong positioning, clear messaging, and consistent execution across channels. Manage marketing calendars and priorities to keep work organized, proactive, and aligned with brand and business goals. Own campaign planning and execution for seasonal launches, product features, store openings, promotions, and partnerships. Oversee the full marketing funnel across social, website, in-store marketing, collaborations, and community engagement, working through internal team members and external partners where applicable. Execute email marketing and support broader organic marketing initiatives with a strong focus on planning, measurement, and optimization. Support paid media strategy and performance oversight, including briefing, budget direction, reporting, and external partner management where applicable. Partner with the broader management team to drive performance across all sales channels, including retail, wholesale, and e-commerce. Use AI and other technology tools to improve reporting, streamline processes, increase efficiency, and support stronger marketing execution across brands. Qualifications 4-7+ years of experience in brand marketing, integrated marketing, or a similar consumer-facing marketing role. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple priorities across brands and stakeholders. Handson experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, including campaign planning, segmentation, and performance analysis. Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics, Shopify and e-commerce reporting, SEO fundamentals, and paid social or digital campaign reporting. Strong creative judgment and communication skills, with experience managing brand execution across digital, retail, and other customerfacing channels. Strong aptitude for technology, with comfort learning new platforms independently and applying AI or automation tools to improve workflow and output. What Success Looks Like Campaigns are delivered on time and to a high standard, supported by clear calendars, strong briefs, and minimal followup required from leadership. Dear Grain, Village Juicery, and BLFC show up consistently and effectively across channels, with strong alignment between brand strategy and execution. Ecommerce and storelevel marketing initiatives drive measurable results, supported by clear reporting, actionable insights, and increasingly efficient ways of working. Pay & Schedule Pay: $65,000 $70,000 yearly. Full Time 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. This role requires regular travel to Dear Grain and Village Juicery locations across the GTA, with an estimated onsite presence of approximately one day per week.
