The student will be responsible for providing and supporting professional, accurate, and well communicated analysis, recommendations and reporting.Key Activities and ResponsibilitiesSupport in generating various reports, analyzing data and identifying trends and insights to drive sound business decision makingAssist with creating and managing financial models for existing assets and new projectsParticipate in annual business budgeting and planning activities including consolidating and verifying inputs from stakeholder groupsCompile economic analysis into clear and concise business case recommendationsAssist in reporting preparation and reviews for monthly and ad-hoc deliverablesPerform research and due diligence to support business opportunities and financial forecastingMaintain up to date documentation, track and communicate initiative status and prepare presentation materials for internal meetingsAd-hoc tasks and analysisEducation, Skills & ExperiencePursuing a diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Economics, AccountingFinancial modeling and DCF modelling experience is an assetExperience analyzing large sets of complex data is an assetExceptionally high level of focus on quality of work and attention to detail is requiredStrong critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret and communicate financial and business analysisSAP and PBI experience is an assetExcellent interpersonal, analytical, time management and organizational skillsStrong team orientation balanced with the ability to work autonomously to drive outcomesAbility to work well in a fast-paced growth environmentHoursMonday-Friday, full timeAs this position is identified as security sensitive, employment of a final candidate will be conditional upon completion of a criminal background check with satisfactory results.While diversity is a fact, inclusion is the act of recognizing the value of our differences and leveraging them for the betterment of our organization.
