Enhance your skills as a Laboratory Technologist I in a 0.7 nights role at Foothills Medical Centre. This position focuses on Hematology, ensuring accurate diagnostic results while maintaining high standards of quality. This part-time opportunity requires you to perform routine and specialized procedures in Hematology. Reporting to the Senior Technologist, you will manage diagnostic samples, identify unusual findings, and operate advanced laboratory instruments. Youll also assist in maintaining inventory and provide training to staff. Your expertise in customer service and communication will support the needs of both internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic procedures and report findings Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments Maintain quality control and assurance programs Assist in departmental inventory management Participate in staff training and orientation Requirements: Completed accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program Active registration with CMLTA or eligibility Recent MLT experience in Hematology preferred Familiarity with Sysmex and Epic systems Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset Youll thrive in this role by utilizing your MLT skills in a team-focused environment while providing high-quality patient care. #J-18808-Ljbffr
