Job Description Midland Transport is currently seeking a reliable and safetyfocused Freight Handler to join our Saint John team. In this role you will be responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, and handling freight in a fastpaced environment. You will ensure shipments move efficiently through our terminal while maintaining accuracy, safety, and high service standards. Shifts Available Sunday Thursday (11PM 7AM) Benefits A dynamic, safe, and rewarding work environment Competitive hourly rate 3 weeks paid vacation A flexible health, drug, dental, and vision plan RRSP matching program Employee & Family Assistance Programs Health & Wellness reimbursements including gym memberships, fitness classes or online workout programs Growth and progression opportunities within Midland Transport and large network of the JD Irving group of companies Responsibilities Setting up the dock for efficient operations Safely and efficiently loading and unloading freight, both manually and using equipment Communicating with other Dock Workers to ensure safe and organized loading and unloading Maintaining a clean, functional dock and work area Flexible to assist in other areas if required Qualifications Education: Minimum High School Diploma Minimum of 2 years of relevant dock/warehouse experience Proven forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting Strong commitment to working safely in a fastpaced environment Ability to collaborate positively with others to achieve common goals Proficient in reading and writing to complete required paperwork accurately Efficient, reliable, and dedicated to maintaining high productivity Basic math and organizational skills required About Us Founded in 1882, J.D.
