Become a key leader in criminal defense as the Legal Services Manager at Legal Aid Alberta in Calgary. This full-time role focuses on team leadership, high-quality legal service delivery, and strategic initiatives. You will lead a team of lawyers, driving quality mentorship and performance management in criminal law. This role requires excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to legal challenges. Your leadership will support ongoing criminal legal services across Southern Alberta, facilitating team collaboration and effective problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: Mentor and coach lawyers while providing legal guidance Manage performance and file assignments for your team Ensure effective courtroom coverage by coordinating schedules Address and resolve complaints from clients and partners Participate in strategic meetings with organizational leaders Requirements: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school Active member of the Law Society of Alberta At least five years of experience in litigation Management experience within a legal setting preferred Strong knowledge of criminal law and ethics Lead your team to provide impactful legal services and advocate for justice at Legal Aid Alberta. #J-18808-Ljbffr
