Club Coordinator (Part-Time, term) University Womens Club of Winnipeg Be part of something meaningful! Located in the beautiful and historic Ralph Connor House, weve been empowering women for over 100 years through advocacy, programming, and shared experiences. Were looking for a highly organized, people-focused Club Coordinator to help bring our space and programs to life. What Youll Do: Youll be at the heart of the clubs daily operations-creating a welcoming environment, supporting events, and keeping everything running smoothly. Create a great member experience Be the first point of contact for members, guests and inquiries Share information about the clubs programs and benefits Help foster a warm, inclusive, and collaborative atmosphere Coordinate events and activities Plan and support club events from start to finish Set up spaces, coordinate food and beverages, and assist during events Manage registrations, reservations, and catering details Provide bar service and handle payments when needed Keep things running smoothly Manage office operations, supplies and scheduling Maintain an up-to-date calendar of events and activities Support communication across staff and committees Foster a positive collaborative team environment Care for a historic space Help maintain the safety, cleanliness and functionality of Ralph Connor House Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and service providers Handle light housekeeping tasks and supply management Support and grow membership Respond to membership inquiries and provide tours Process applications and welcome new members Coordinate renewals and maintain accurate member records Assist with member recognition and engagement initiatives What You Bring 3+ years of experience in administration, hospitality, or similar role Strong organizational skills and attention to detail A customer-service mindset and excellent communication skills The ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities Comfort with Microsoft Office; social media skills are a bonus Successful completion of Grade 12 or equivalent Asset Qualifications Experience in a club, non-profit, or hospitality setting A valid drivers licence The Details Part-time hours: 20-25 hours per week including some evenings and weekends 6-month term with possibility of extension or switch to indeterminate appointment Wages: $24 per hour A mix of hands-on, active work and administrative tasks Must be comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs and using stairs to move between floors in a historic building Required certifications (or eligibility to obtain) Smart Choices Food Handler Certificate Vulnerable Persons Check Proficiency in English is essential Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (documentation may be required at time of offer) Why Join Us?
