Opportunity We are seeking a temporary fulltime Corporate Accounting and Reporting Analyst in Ottawa to cover an 18month maternity leave, with possible extension. The role supports accounting operations and manages both internal and external financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Your Impact Youll support the financial planning and analysis and corporate accounting functions across multiple legal entities and operational divisions. Youll prepare consolidated financial statements, note disclosures, and internal reporting packages for Vice Presidents and the Executive Team. Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a fastpaced, collaborative environment with team members, project managers, clients, and stakeholders. Your Responsibilities Support the corporate monthend/quarterly close process, including review of periodend entries, intercompany billing, journal entries, and GL coding. Assist with the Administrative prequalification process with various State DoTs for the US subsidiary. Support A/R and WIP review with Assistant Controllers. Lead the systematic AR collection process, working with client PMs and management to pursue overdue AR. Assist the AVP Finance with project setup and timesheet postings. Prepare internal management reporting, including divisional performance, cash forecasts, and manage models. Provide semimonthly cash reporting to senior management. Produce financing covenant reporting. Support report design and configuration in the ERP system. Participate in other projects as assigned, including M&A integration. What You Bring to the Team Bachelors degree in accounting or equivalent education and experience. Minimum 5 years of financial reporting experience in professional services, real estate, infrastructure, or similar industries. High level of personal integrity. Adaptability to new software, such as Deltek Vantagepoint. Advanced Excel and projectbased ERP skills. Fluent in English, French an asset. Legally able to work in Canada.
