We pride ourselves on a collaborative culture, loyal client base, steady work, and longterm job security for the right people.Role OverviewWe are seeking a midlevel Marketing Manager who excels at turning scientific content into engaging marketing communications. This is a handson role that blends strategy, content writing, project coordination, and digital execution.The ideal candidate is someone who:Understands biotech and drug development well enough to speak to scientists, founders, and investorsCan write strong marketing copy independentlyIs comfortable owning the marketing calendar and driving executionThrives in a remote, fastpaced, agencylike environmentThis is a 1520 hours per week, longterm remote contract role with room to grow.We are currently seeking candidates based in Europe (Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Belgium) or Canada.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Industry PositioningCreate LinkedIn posts (weekly) on biotech topics, industry insights, and Theoria's workCreate articles (monthly) or thoughtleadership pieces, including interviewing clients as neededCreate marketing copy for presentations, brochures, onepagers, and website updatesDevelop narratives that demonstrate our strategic value and deepen our credibility in the biotech spaceSocial Media & Community EngagementManage and grow Theoria's LinkedIn presenceMonitor the biotech news cycle and engage with relevant posts, founders, and investorsAmplify CEO relationships within the life sciences and investor communitiesLead GenerationSet up and manage email campaigns through MailChimp, including:LinkedIn lead generation and email lookupLead collection and managementAutomated campaigns and followup workflowsPerformance tracking and reportingIndustry ConferencesPrepare for conferences that we attend:create targeted lists,launch targeted campaigns,manage team's schedule at the conference, etc.Marketing Operations & PlanningMaintain marketing content calendar and coordinate timelines with the design and leadership teamsTrack biotech industry conferences and update the industry event calendar on our websiteAlign campaigns with seasonal industry activity (e.g., JPM Week, ASCO, AACR, etc.)Track KPIs, campaign performance, and lead activityOptimize, improve, execute, and deliver resultsTools & AutomationUse marketing tools such as MailChimp, LinkedIn, WordPress, Asana, Google Analytics, and AIenabled workflowsIdentify new marketing automation tools and opportunities to improve efficiencyQualifications & SkillsExperience4+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally within biotech, life sciences, or pharmaExperience in an agency or fastpaced production environment is strongly preferredScientific UnderstandingBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or related fieldStrong scientific literacy comfortable reading scientific press releases and understanding terminology across:Immunology, oncology, cell therapies, gene therapiesClinical development stages and regulatory languageAbility to write confidently about scientific topics without heavy oversightMarketing Writing & CommunicationExcellent marketing writing skills with a clear, concise, and compelling styleAbility to create messaging that resonates with scientific and investor audiencesWriting samples or portfolio demonstrating ability to synthesize complex topicsTechnical & Platform SkillsProficiency with:MailChimp automation and campaign managementLinkedIn (campaigns and reporting)Asana or similar project management toolsCRM (Salesforce, Daylite, Zoho CRM or similar)ChatGPT and Google AnalyticsMicrosoft OfficeWordPress (basic familiarity)Adobe Creative Cloud (basic familiarity)Working StyleHighly independent and decisive, able to move projects forward without micromanagementOrganized and efficient: strong project and time management skillsFast executor with strong attention to detailComfortable communicating with Csuite executives, founders, and investorsFluent in English (written and verbal)Nice to HaveExperience at a biotech or scientific communications agencyUnderstanding of investor communication, pitch decks, and private/VC biotech landscapeExperience developing thoughtleadership content for senior executivesExperience running LinkedIn paid campaignsWork ArrangementUSbased firm with team members in both the US and EuropeParttime (15-20 hours/week), with potential to expandFully remote with flexible schedulingMust be able to collaborate during overlapping hours with the US team and respond reliably during the workweekSeeking applicants based in Europe or CanadaSeniority LevelMidSenior levelEmployment TypeParttimeJob FunctionMarketingIndustriesMarketing Services and Biotechnology Research #J-18808-Ljbffr
