Join us to work in a dynamic, innovative, and collaborative environment where youll make a real impact.We are currently looking for a Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our Water Resources Team in Toronto to support projects related to infrastructure, municipal, highway, transit, and related sectors. This role is based in our Mississauga office. You will have the opportunity to participate in our hybrid work model. Travel to various sites may be required from time to time according to project requirements.Job responsibilitiesPrepares hydrologic and hydraulic models for municipal, road, highway, rail and transit projectsPrepares technical reports and memorandumsDevelops and/or supervises the creation of engineering products that meet client quality requirementsCoordinates drainage requirements for interdisciplinary analytical studies and analysesCompletes field assessments, analysis and evaluations as requiredManages regulatory applications and approvalsProvides support for construction activities as Project Engineer or Contract AdministratorAssists with proposal preparation and business developmentQualificationsBachelors degree in Civil engineering with a specialization in water resources engineering. Postgraduate degree in water resources would be an asset.Minimum of 10 years of water resources engineering experience, preferably in an engineering consulting environment.Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) from PEO. Candidates who are in the process of obtaining their P.Eng. license or nearing completion may also be considered.Strong understanding of water resources engineering principles.Good knowledge and experience in modelling such as PCSWMM, Visual OTTHYMO, HEC-RAS, Culvert Master, and Hy-8Familiarity with programming, databases and GIS is an asset.Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3DMust possess a valid drivers license and the ability/willingness to undergo security clearance checks.At CIMA+, we value diversity of talent and perspective.
