As the inaugural Director of Lifelong Learning, you will spearhead initiatives aimed at expanding educational outreach across the Toronto, Durham, and York regions. This pivotal position embraces a community-focused approach, collaborating with various stakeholders to foster a culture of conservation. Transformational learning will emphasize the importance of integration between science and traditional ecological knowledge. Key Responsibilities: Build an education strategy aligned with our mission Infuse climate knowledge into educational content Create inclusive models targeting underserved learners Partner with stakeholders for cohesive science communication Lead a high-performing team of over 300 volunteers Requirements: 7+ years in education, engagement, or conservation Degree in Education or related domain Experience designing programs for varied demographics Evidence of equity and access in educational initiatives Demonstrated budget management and leadership skills Drive learning while supporting conservation efforts at the Toronto Zoo. #J-18808-Ljbffr
