Lead Utilities operations as a First Class Power Engineer with OXY CHEM in Thorold, Ontario. Oversee equipment functions, prioritize maintenance tasks, and ensure safety compliance daily. In this pivotal role, you will supervise Shift Operating Engineers and manage operational activities across all plant areas. You are expected to prioritize maintenance for Utilities equipment like boilers and refrigeration systems. Through efficient leadership, you will promote health, safety, and environmental standards while mentoring junior engineers and conducting safety inspections within the plant. Key Responsibilities: Supervise operations of Utilities equipment and systems Conduct inspections of critical equipment and systems Administer Operating Engineers Act regulations Oversee maintenance activities and safety inspections Mentor junior engineers and coordinate team objectives Requirements: Valid First Class Operating Engineers License required Extensive utilities management experience in plant operations Strong knowledge of TSSA regulations and HSE practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills Drive operational excellence and uphold safety standards as a key member of the OXY CHEM team in Thorold. #J-18808-Ljbffr
