Job DescriptionWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer responsible for managing the procurement and sourcing process to ensure the timely and cost-effective supply of goods while maintaining high quality standards. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with suppliers and internal teams to support day-to-day operations, optimize inventory levels, and contribute to overall supply chain efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Source and identify new suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliabilityEvaluate supplier capabilities and negotiate pricing, terms, and lead timesDevelop and execute long-term purchasing plans considering extended lead times (up to 5 months)Forecast demand and align procurement schedules to ensure product availability and avoid stockoutsCreate, review, and manage purchase orders based on demand planning and inventory levelsCommunicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery schedulesBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliersCoordinate effectively with internal teams (logistics, warehouse, finance) and external stakeholders (suppliers, freight forwarders)Monitor shipments and proactively follow up to ensure on-time deliveryResolve issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies in ordersMaintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performanceAnalyze purchasing and sourcing data to support forecasting and cost optimizationEnsure compliance with company policies and procurement proceduresExperience & Qualifications:Minimum 4 years of purchasing experience in a production environmentStrong sourcing, negotiation, and communication skillsAnalytical mindset with strong data interpretation abilitiesStakeholder coordination and cross-functional collaborationLong-term planning and demand forecasting abilitiesSupplier evaluation and relationship managementAttention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesTime management and ability to handle multiple prioritiesProficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems, as well as Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of supply chain, sourcing, and procurement processes
