Project Engineer Mine DevelopmentFull-Time | Vancouver, BC | Travel to California SiteAssume a key leadership role in a high-impact mining project offering a compelling environment to develop both professionally and personally. Our mining client is advancing one of the largest undeveloped primary silver projects in the United States. Backed by an experienced, award-winning leadership team they are focused on responsible development and long-term value creation.They are seeking a Project / Mining Engineer to work directly with the President & CEO and lead the advancement of the California Project through its development phase and beyond. ResponsibilitiesLead planning, execution, and delivery of Project development phase.Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and contracting strategies including robust project controls for cost, schedule, and risk management.Oversee Prefeasibility and Feasibility Study preparation.Coordinate and manage external consultants and technical teams.Collaborate closely with geology and executive teams to align project priorities.Compliance with California regulatory requirements.Provide regular progress updates to executive leadership.QualificationsBachelors Degree in Mine Engineering or related field.Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation (BC and/or California).5+ years of open pit mining experience in operations and/or project development.Strong understanding of mine development and regulatory frameworks.Ability to drive results while maintaining a culture of safety and excellence.CompensationCompetitive Salary: $180K $230K CAD (based on experience).Comprehensive health and insurance benefits package.Stock options and long-term incentive opportunities.Performance-based annual bonus and project completion bonus.
