This is a senior leadership role for someone who combines deep expertise across paid media, digital, content, SEO, and brand communications with the vision and people skills to lead a high-performing team. As Director, you will set the strategic direction for client accounts, own the quality and performance of all marketing deliverables, and serve as the agencys senior voice in client relationships. You will build a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement across Account Managers and Coordinators.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Client LeadershipServe as the most senior strategic lead across key client accounts, ensuring all marketing strategies align with client business objectives and deliver measurable results.Develop and champion integrated marketing roadmaps spanning paid media, digital advertising, content, SEO, and brand communications.Act as a trusted senior advisor and escalation point for clients, building long-term relationships grounded in strategic counsel and deep platform knowledge.Lead high-stakes client presentations, quarterly business reviews, and strategic planning sessions with confidence and clarity.Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities within existing accounts, supporting new business development and proposal development as needed.Paid Media & Digital AdvertisingProvide strategic oversight across all paid media channels, including Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max), TikTok Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and programmatic platforms.Set performance standards and strategic direction for campaign planning, audience targeting, budget allocation, and optimization across accounts.Guide teams in interpreting platform data and analytics (including GA4) to surface insights that drive campaign improvement and client confidence.Ensure best-in-class tracking, attribution, and measurement frameworks are in place across all paid media accounts.Stay ahead of platform changes, emerging channels, and industry trends, proactively integrating new opportunities into client strategies.Content, SEO & Brand CommunicationsLead the strategic direction for content and SEO programs, ensuring they are integrated with paid media and digital experience strategies.Oversee brand communications across client accounts, ensuring messaging is consistent, compelling, and aligned with each clients brand identity and business goals.Partner with content and SEO specialists to develop editorial strategies, keyword frameworks, and content performance measurement approaches.Provide senior review and approval on brand-facing deliverables including campaign concepts, creative briefs, messaging frameworks, and brand guidelines.Champion a performance-oriented content approach that connects storytelling to measurable business outcomes.Team Leadership & DevelopmentDirectly lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers and Coordinators, fostering a culture of accountability, professional growth, and high performance.Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular feedback conversations, and manage performance formally where required.Support recruitment, onboarding, and skills development, building team capability across digital platforms, client management, and strategic thinking.Act as a player-coach, rolling up your sleeves on complex accounts while simultaneously elevating the capabilities of those around you.Collaborate with the CMO and senior leadership on team structure, resource planning, and capacity management.Quality Assurance & Operational ExcellenceServe as the final approver on client-facing strategy documents, campaign briefs, reports, and creative recommendations before delivery.Establish and maintain agency-wide quality standards for all marketing deliverables across paid media, SEO, content, and brand.Identify inefficiencies in workflows and processes, and lead initiatives to improve how the team plans, executes, and reports.Contribute to the development of agency tools, templates, playbooks, and documentation that raise the standard of delivery across all accounts.QualificationsDegree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.812 years of progressive experience in digital marketing or account management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or director-level role, preferably in an agency environment.Proven expertise across paid media platforms including Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), TikTok Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.Deep understanding of integrated marketing strategy spanning paid media, content, SEO, and brand communications.Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams, with a track record of building accountability and professional growth.Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to connect platform performance data to broader business outcomes and client goals.Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence senior client stakeholders.Strong commercial acumen, including experience identifying growth opportunities and contributing to new business development.Proficiency with project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Asana) and marketing technology tools.Experience with SEO platforms (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs) and familiarity with digital experience and design processes.Platform certifications (Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, etc.) are a strong asset.Compensation &
