Lead healthcare innovation as the Medical Director for the FNPCI with First Nations Health Authority. Embrace a remote/hybrid work model while working closely with Indigenous communities in BC. The FNHA is looking for a Medical Director to oversee its First Nations Primary Care Initiative. This position requires collaboration with various healthcare providers to ensure quality care is delivered effectively. Candidates should possess a proven track record in health service leadership, particularly in Indigenous contexts, and have at least five years of relevant experience. Key Responsibilities: Drive the implementation of culturally sensitive healthcare practices Foster partnerships among departments within FNHA Support Medical Leads in managing FNPCI Program sites Align FNPCI operational activities with service delivery goals Address quality care issues through leadership in committees Requirements: Medical degree from an accredited institution Licensure with the Current College of Physicians of BC 5-8 years'' primary care experience preferred Relevant experience working with Indigenous health organizations Demonstrated management or leadership capabilities Utilize your leadership skills to advocate for culturally safe care and enhance the FNPCI''s impact across British Columbia. #J-18808-Ljbffr
