Job: Logistics Coordinator (Exports Customer On-Time Delivery) Salary: $60,000- $65,000 ; 1 year maternity leave contractLocation: Oakville - Burlington, Hybrid12-month contractOur client is a very well-established supplier of instruments and machines and has an existing 12-month maternity leave contract job open for Logistics Coordinator to ensure on time export order fulfilment. You will be responsible for inventory, issue Pos, work with vendors to ensure on time delivery, book freight ( ocean , air exports ) , assist in tracking shipments , issue documentation for customs .The jobis based in Oakville - Burlington area. This is hybridLogistics Coordinator will be part of the Order Fulfilment team and will be responsible for booking freight with carriers ( export ocean air ), , be responsible for inventory, maintain min max levels ,release POs and keep customers informed of the status of the shipment to avoid back-order situations. You will create freight related documentation and ensure carriers follow the instructions; you will participate in carrier performance meetings, conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement long-term measures. You will Confirm orders in SAP; check inventory levels and issue POs, follow up with vendors and suppliers, expedite orders book freight with freight partners ensure correct rates are applicable, assist in invoicing, work directly with freight partners for air and ocean exports; track shipments and communicate order status.Logistics Coordinator will have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in inventory, customer order fulfilment, inside-sales, supply chain, freight, logistics, transportation for export shipments; good knowledge of documentation, tariffs, lanes, geography is a MUST. Supply Chain and Logistics courses and certifications like CCLP, P. Log, Traffic, Transportation, Supply Chain and Inventory are highly preferred. Bachelors degree is an asset. Experience of dispatching freight within the Canadian customs and compliance experience IS a MUST. Experience with SAP, JDA is an asset.
